Foreground: I am a mother to two children, a dancer, an educator, a performer, a philosopher and jokester. I work primarily in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Stockholm, Sweden.
Backround: I have a BA in dance from the University of Minnesota and I was a member of a Saint Paul based dance company TU Dance from 2002-2009. I moved to New York in 2009 to work with German choreographer Johannes Wieland and subsequently moved to Kassel, Germany to continue that work with Wieland at Staatstheater Kassel. In 2012 I moved to Stockholm, Sweden and began working with Cullberg Ballet. I have a continuing relationship with Sweden, Stockholm Konstnärliga Högskolan and Cullberg. In 2021 I received my MFA in New Performative Practices from Stockholm University for the Arts (Stockholm Konstnärliga Högskolan). I have worked as a dancer, choreographer, rehearsal director and assistant to various projects and under the direction of a range of choreographers:

Aside: I currently and in school at Northwestern Health Sciences University studying Shiatsu and Massage Therapy. I also study and practice Cranio-Sacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute. I have spent chapters working as a baker, house painter, and farm manager for a small scale organic sheep farm in Bloomington, Minnesota. My current artistic practice is one of conflation between dancing, mothering, caregiving, questioning, inter-species relationships, recreation and play.
